Just a few reminders for our church…

We will have a meeting for our congregation on Sunday – April 10 after our church service.   We will be voting to see whether or not the church will sell their undivided interest in the Riske Property that is located behind the cemetery.

Also, we will be having an Easter egg hunt after our Easter worship service at 9:00am on Sunday – April 17.   If you would like to donate candy for the hunt or make a monetary donation, you may leave your donation in the church fellowship kitchen.  Shannon Hervey will be in charge of the Easter egg hunt.

Blessings, Jan

Joyce Lerche will be the new contact person for hall rentals.  If you are interested in renting the fellowship hall or annex please contact Joyce.   A contract must be filled out for each rental for insurance purposes.

Hope all of our church family is doing well!  After the church service Sunday morning (Aug 22, 2021) all of you are encouraged to stay and have refreshments in the fellowship hall during a two part session on Martin Luther’s, “A Simple Way to Pray” facilitated by Shiloh Perry with Pastor Craig’s assistance.  The first session  will be this Sunday and the second session will be the following Sunday.   Be ready to take a deep dive into the Lord’s Prayer.

The fish fry on Sunday, August22 was a success! A big THANK YOU to Roger Wubbenhorst, Jerry Gold and Mark Richardson for frying fish, French fries and hush puppies. Thank you to all who supplied ice cream! The food and fellowship were wonderful.

Cemetery Update
Additional crepe myrtle trees have been planted by the fence and the entrance has been widened. Soon the care and mowing will change hands. We give our sincere thanks to Floyd Kostelka, whose excellent care has served us for many years. Rick Ford and family will take over those duties. We look forward to the service of the Ford family.
